Basics of operating easy and user-friendly RS data processing software called ScanMagic can be mastered independently by downloading the free video-training from the ScanEx R&D Center’s web-site.

ScanEx Center offers everyone to familiarize themselves with the tutorial video-training on ScanMagic software that has been designed for visualization, analysis and processing of RS data and supports import/export of a large number of different raster and vector data formats.

The video-training course enables to quickly study all the ScanMagic software features and tools. This video-training includes an easy-to-understand description of the basics of different operations with data using ScanMagic tools, such as: image import/export, operations with histograms, overlaying vector layers on the image, creation and editing of vector coverages, image transformations into a wide range of map projections, resolution enhancement, RS data geolocation, picking up of GCP’s, operations with cartographic Internet-services, usage of built-in image cataloguing tools and many more.

The video-training is available for free downloading from the ScanEx’s web-site at the following address: http://support.scanex.com/software/sm_videocourse/index.htm. It consists of 20 voiced video-clips (AVI format) of the total duration of 90 minutes and of 200MB in size. Also, a complete text of the video-training is attached in PDF format. This video-training is also available on CD’s, where better-quality video-clips are recorded to the total size of 500MB.
