Preliminary program of the 4th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions”
Preliminary program of the 4th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions”, that is to take place on December 1-3, 2009 in the Moscow Region “Vatutinki” recreation center of the RF President Administration, has been published.

The Organizers of the conference are ScanEx RDC and NGO Transparent World.

Sponsors of the conference are ImageSat Int. N.V. (golden sponsor), SPOT Image S.A., Infoterra GmbH,
MDA Corporation (silver sponsors), and Yandex as the sponsor of the mini-conference «Web&GIS».

The conference is the biggest in sphere of Earth remote sensing from space in Russia and CIS countries and
will be held supported by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing ISPRS, GIS-Association
and World Resources Institute (WRI, USA)

Information support of the event is provided by the «GisInfo» newspaper, GeoTop catalog, «Geoprofi»,
«Inzhenernye izyskaniya», GIS Development, GIM International, GeoConnexion, GEO Informatics, MundoGEO and
Vector1Media magazines. CNews hi-tech publishing house is the info partner of the «Web&GIS» mini-conference.

The conference agenda:

The conference will be participated by the representatives of the Federal Space Agency, RF Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, RF Ministry of Emergencies (EMERCOM), National Center for Crisis Management, RF Ministry of Transportation, regional and municipal administrations, as well as by representatives of educational institutions and major business-structures, foreign space agencies and large RS satellites Operators. To date, over 300 application forms have been submitted by the participants from Russia and 32 world countries.
