Nature protection from space: December 19, the “Voice of Russia” on air
Olga Gershenzon, Deputy General Director of ScanEx RDC, will talk about the experience of space imagery application for nature protection on December 19 at 17:00 Moscow time on air in the radio program “The Club of Commodores”.
The audience will learn about the possibilities of using space images in harp seals population protection in the White Sea, white whale in the Sea of Okhotsk, as well as about monitoring of Russian forests from space, being carried out, in particular, to detect illegal loggings. In addition, Olga Gershenzon will speak about the advantages of modern space technology introduction into the operations of public agencies, educational and scientific institutions and commercial companies.
