SPOT Data

In March 2006 the French Spot Image representatives Spot Image completed the certification of SPOT-2 and SPOT-4 satellites data processing programs, designed by the RDC ScanEx specialists. Upon this certification a regular reception and commercial distribution of SPOT 2/4 data was initiated in Russia and some CIS countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova).

SPOT-2/4 satellites have been staying on orbit since 1990 and 1998 respectively. Satellites sensors provide for the Earth imagery with the resolution of 10 m in panchromatic and 20 m in multispectral modes with the swath width of 60 – 120 km.

Direct readout technique enables to considerably reduce the price of the SPOT-2/4 images and to expedite the execution of the image orders.

ScanEx Center offers Spot 2/4 data from its own archive and takes orders for Spot 5 data supply from the Spot Image global archive.
