The image of the Chernyshkovsky and Kotelnikovsky Districts of the Volgograd Region was received on November 12, 2016 from SPOT 6 satellite.

Tsimlyansk Reservoir can be seen on the image. It is an artificial lake on the Don River near modern Tsimlyansk completed in 1952. The Aksai Esaulovsky and Aksai Kurmoyarsky Rivers flow into the reservoir.

Tsimlyansk Sands nature park is in the left part of the image.
