The territory of the Satkinsky District of the Chelyabinsk Region and the Zyuratkul reservoir can be seen at the images received on June 11, 2017 and February 17, 2015 from SPOT 6 and SPOT 7 satellites.

Zuratkul is located on the territory of the national park of the same name. It is one of the most high-water reservoirs of the Southern Urals. It is surrounded by mountain ranges covered with dark coniferous forests. The area is 13.5 sq. km, the maximum depth is 12 m. The Great Satka River flows from the reservoir. At its source there is a dam and Zuratkul settlement with a population of less than 100 people.

Approximately 2 km to the north of the reservoir there is a geoglyph "Elk" measuring 218 x 195 m. It is formed by strips of artificially laid stones. The width of the bands is from 3 to 5 meters. The stones are now covered with a sedimentary layer of earth up to 25-50 cm thick. According to various estimates, the image refers to the Neolithic or Eneolithic era.
